5 Reasons Why You Should Relaunch Your Blog on Squarespace

Why You Should Relaunch Your Blog on Squarespace

Squarespace is my absolute favorite website hosting platform. I love it because it’s so easy to use and it looks beautiful. You don’t have to search for hacks on how to make it perform the way you want it to. You don’t have to over-exert yourself to make it work properly on mobile devices. And you don’t have to do the absolute most to get an eCommerce store up and running. It’s great all-around! It’s especially good for bloggers who are re-designing their websites and here are the reasons why:

1. Squarespace is soooo easy to start on and it’s easy to update

When you’re designing your own website, Squarespace is the perfect option. There’s a slight learning curve, as you get the hang of it, but once you do, you’ll love it. It’s easy to add basically any customizations that you need and it’s very easy to update when you want to make changes, without having to pay your web designer to do it for you.

2. Squarespace has a beautiful appearance

Squarespace has beautiful templates that are already built in. You can even customize them to fit your own brand look. The best part about this is the fact that you don’t have to waste time looking for good templates. And Squarespace templates are automatically enabled for mobile devices.

3. Squarespace has the feature of an e-commerce store that you can easily set up

If you’re planning to sell physical or digital products, you can set up your store with no fuss in Squarespace. It integrates effortlessly with popular payment platforms, like Paypal. You even include short-links to items in your store anywhere on your website that allow shoppers to automatically add the product to the shopping cart, without being on the actual product page. You can track all of your inventory and orders right in Squarespace, too!

4. Squarespace has great customization ability

One of the biggest misconceptions of Squarespace is the lack of customization. Well, take a look at my website, along with the four websites below. Do any of them look just alike? Nope! This shows how amazing the customization ability is in Squarespace. Even though there are templates are included, you can create your own branding image and easily make your website fit your blog vision to a tee. You can customize your fonts, colors, and the layouts of the items on your web pages.

One of the biggest misconceptions of Squarespace is the lack of customization.

Squarespace also has an announcement bar feature that can help emphasize your call-to-action. This feature is really good because it can help increase the number of people who follow through on your call-to-actions, like joining your email list, checking out your most important blog post, etc. It’s optional to use this feature. You can turn it off if you want to. I use it to promote my branding email course signup.

5. Squarespace integrates with everything that you need

MailChimp, LeadPages, ConvertKit, etc…all of those email platforms integrate with no issues with Squarespace. It also integrates with popular blog post sharing buttons, like Buzz Sumo and Shareaholic. Being able to easily integrate with everything that you need, makes Squarespace a perfect choice.

I’m releasing my Blog Refresh Workbook on Friday, April 14 and it’s for existing bloggers who want to re-brand, re-strategize, and re-launch their blog websites.
