From Idea to Reality: The She, Imprints Brand Launch

She, Imprints is a wellness organization founded by Jamilah Pitts with the mission to transform the world through an emphasis on the holistic development and radical healing of women and girls of the global majority. They aim to alleviate barriers that impede women and girls of color from benefiting from the beneficial self-care practices that are offered in the wellness industry. The organization serves at the intersection of wellness and justice for women and girls of the global majority.

Mission

She, Imprints was preparing for their first wellness retreat within the next year and they were ready to create a new brand and website for an official launch, so they could start marketing the business to become more visible. Their goal was to attract sponsors for their organization and to attract women interested in attending their retreat.

Services Rendered

White House Branding Studio worked with She, Imprints to create a visual identity and website that would allow the message of their work to shine through while gaining donors’ trust. We created a logo and brand style guidelines that exuded wellness and femininity. We then created a website designed to educate donors and ideal clients about their mission and how they can get involved.

The Process

We began the project with a brand strategy session to tap into what She, Imprints wished to communicate with their brand. The words healing, rejuvenated, in-power, and bold yet humble and fierce all came up during the strategy session. This gave clarity on the type of design that would be best for She, Imprints.

After the brand strategy session, the design process began with the creation of two mood board and color palette options. Colors and imagery were selected to communicate a sense of peace, healing, and wellness. Brown color shades were used to represent a sense of feeling rooted and being down to earth. Forest green was used to represent the growth and renewal that they’ll inspire in women and girls. And yellow was used to represent the happiness that women will have after addressing their self-care and wellness with She, Imprints. A rose quartz accent was used to represent self-love.

Next, a new logo was designed for the brand. The logo design leverages an arches symbol that slightly resembles the shape of a thumbprint to represent the “imprint” component of the business name. A full brand style guide was developed with alternate logo designs, logo marks and icons, a brand font pairing, and palm leaves were used as a brand accent to create a peaceful, tropical look, inspired by wellness retreats.

The new color palette, logo, and palm leaves were the perfect ingredients for a peaceful, wellness-influenced website. First, a website wireframe was designed to craft a plan for the layout of the website page. The goal of the website design was to feel like an empowering tropical getaway. Next, the wireframe was turned into a page design mockup with colors, fonts, and imagery added to them to give the client a preview of what their website design would look like.

Once the page design preview was done, the live website was designed online. The website was designed with conversion in mind with bold call-to-action buttons to encourage potential clients to take the next step to donate and sign up for the wellness retreat. Information on the website was organized in a way that would make the website easy to navigate for end users.

In addition to the website, White House Branding Studio also crafted a compelling proposal template for She, Imprints. This template ensured a consistent and cohesive brand presence, enabling them to effectively approach potential donors and partners with professionalism and a visually engaging representation of their mission.

The brand was also translated to quote graphic templates for use in promoting the brand on social media.

She, Imprints now has a wellness-inspired, empowering brand that helps to effectively attract both donors and wellness retreat attendees. The peace that their clients will experience from working with them can be truly felt by their audience. It captivates what makes She, Imprints special and communicates well about their mission.

The Impact

The outcome was a captivating, credibility-boosting website that effortlessly attracts both donors and ideal clients. Following its launch, they secured their first sponsor for the wellness fund and nearly sold out their inaugural retreat.
